Make: Homemade Mozzarella

A couple weekends ago, while having dinner at my boyfriends house, his Dad taught us how to make homemade mozzarella. All it is is pounds of curd and hot water and after patiently mixing in hot water and working it with your hands, you're left with a delicious result. And what's better than homemade cheese?

10 - 20 pounds of curd.

Slowly mix in hot water.
Looks like brains!

When you've mixed in enough water and worked the curd, you'll start to get a smooth result.
The trick is to work quickly and dip your hands in cooler water to form the mozzarella.
The hot water was burning my hands.
Nonny showing off and making a twist.
