After hearing great things from friends about similar services, my boyfriend and I decided to give PLATED a try and we couldn't have been happier. For those of you unfamiliar with PLATED, they send you fresh ingredients each week to make chef-approved recipes. The service alleviates the constant issue of buying too much and seeing it go to waste a week later because you can't use it quick enough. It is the perfect solution for those who want to learn how to cook, those who are looking to have delicious meals with everything readily available, and those who hate (NYC) grocery stores. A dream come true for me!

So, we signed up to get three recipes for week one (6 plates = 1 serving each recipe per person) - Philly Cheesesteaks, Mexican Skillet Lasagna, and Buffalo Chicken Pizza with Yogurt Ranch (pictures below!). When the ingredients arrived I was thoroughly impressed. Everything is carefully pre-packaged and labeled for each recipe and all very fresh, no bruises or soft spots that I could see. Oh man, and the quality of the food was ah-mazing. Seriously, we couldn't have raved more. Everything was absolutely delicious and we cannot wait to sign up for another week and see what's next!
