Happy to say this week can truly end on a high note. Why, you ask? Well for one, it was short (always a plus). Then I found boots I have been coveting on major sale #score. THIS instagram was introduced to me. Thanks bf! Now I want another pup even more. I booked a trip to visit my bestie in NC. The Rangers won! And tomorrow I get to celebrate my cousins marriage with tons of family. What could be better? Enjoy the roundup!

So I try to remember to do this and if not, I try to think about times when I've had a blast. Perfect example: celebrating my birthday with friends a few weeks ago.

This year is absolutely flying by. I can't believe it's already Memorial Day weekend. That means we get a three-day weekend AND it's almost (hopefully) the start of warmer weather. Aside from that, there are also the Memorial Day sales. Seriously. So many sales right now I can't even wrap my head around them. Why is pay-day next week? Memorial Day means a three-day weekend (yay!), grilling with the family and much needed R&R in the sun (hopefully). Here's a peek at what my weekend will look like...

Yesterday I hit up the second annual FusionFest hosted by Women's Health and exhale. This was a nationwide Core Fusion party and if you were lucky enough to book early you snagged a free Core Fusion class. Now that's my kind of workout.

Yay for birthdays! The celebration will surely continue this weekend, but thus far it has been a great birthday. A lovely cruise around Manhattan and dinner at my favorite place. Simple and perfect. Very excited for what's in store this year. Another year older, another year wiser, right?

Friday has arrived! Heading home this weekend to spend time with my Mom. We don't have anything planned aside from a play on Saturday and a BBQ Sunday - just the right amount of activities to keep us occupied. I snapped this gorgeous photo when I was in DC and it reminded me that I needed to pick up some flowers before I head home. Have a great weekend!

Make: The Perfect Margarita

Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holiday's since it combines two of my loves - Mexican food and of course margaritas. The festive decor and colors are also quite fun and certainly get you in the mood to celebrate. Over the past few years, I have gone out to celebrate and have stayed in and made my own fiesta, so I have fine-tuned my go-to margarita recipe. It's always nice to have the simple makings on hand for today or really any day!

With the boyfriend away, I've got a fun celebration filled weekend ahead. Two of my cousins are getting married this summer so I have a bachelorette party Saturday and a bridal shower Sunday. I'll be keeping this in mind for Saturday's festivities for sure.
